Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Nigerian troops rescued nearly 300 girls and women during an offensive against Boko Haram fighters in the northeastern Sambisa Forest, the military said.

...

"What we understand is that there is a screening process to find out where they are from. We managed to speak to Nigeria's military spokesman who believes some of the women are wives of Boko Haram fighters," our correspondent said.

Some good news, it seems for once.

:obama:

Having a child kidnapped has to be a parent's worst fear. Can't imagine how emotional those reunions will be.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/28/africa/nigerian-troops-rescue-women-girls/

Girls rescued from Boko Haram terror camps in Sambisa Forest on Tuesday are "not the Chibok girls," Nigerian Army spokesman Sani Usman said.

However, one official did not rule out that captives from other Boko Haram camps that were raided might include some of the 200 girls abducted in April 2014 from a school in Chibok.

Dude has been kidnapping 100's of women at a time for years so no telling how many he actually has. This may be a small victory which i hope leads to a bigger one later.

they might have captured some of the wives of boko haram fighters, according to their military spokesman. those stats about civilians is crazy. it's not even the government or boko haram that's suffering from the fighting; it's the civilians...

No wonder Mos Def chose South Africa instead of Nigeria when he decided to move to the motherland

we shall see...

I'm sorry to say, brehs, but things aren't as they seem. The whole Chibok girls episode now appears to have been a psyop. Fyi,prez Goodluck lost purely due to BH. Don't you find it interesting they're rescued barely a month after he's out giving the winner,Buhari a further boost?
While I hope this is true I'll refrain from popping the chamopagne til more info is available.

Yeah, after the school girl incident I did a little digging on him and he's been doing it for years and the gov't and military are scared to touch him. The actual amount may be in the 1000's over time while its still unknown if they are alive or dead.

The corruption is real in alot of African countries which is why I'm scared to visit because its nothing to grab a few US citizens.

I'm happy to hear progress is being made in rescuing all of the female victims of Boko Haram's destruction. The article did mention the victims from the Chibok kidnapping are still missing.I hope they are soon rescued as well.

Petty jab you threw at the woman just for wearing extensions.:camby:It's irrelevant.
