From what I’ve seen of the site, the longest game is 10min(each side). Which is good for pick up and go games, but not too blisteringly fast as the bullet 1minute or 3min games.
I did this a long time ago, when I wanted to get good at chess but almost every single time I would start to "win" the person would quit the game. WTF? It is pointless to play chess virtually imo. And I have time constraints, we are not going to be playing one game for an hour.![]()
Can we get up a Coli tournament, or at least a regular daily set up where we play each other for fun and for practice. Just gather up all the interested people and have like a Discord or something where we can arrange games with each other.

Also, the ranking system on chess.com makes it so that a player who just rage quits will be have their rank sent to the shadow realm where they are forced to play with similar badly ranked/badly behaved players (400lvl or below). Conversely, if you beat this theoretically badly behaved player, your own rank will rise placing you with people who value CHESS as much as you. Does this seem doable for you, @pickles ?
Set up the thread or discord breh. I'm down for a chess tournament.
First of all I think we should get a headcount up of how many people are actually in.
I'm happy to help with behind-the-scenes organisation but I ask for someone else to lead the actual creation of a thread for this.
