Fully agree. The British Empire was evil but that was the game back then sadly. British Empire just came up tops and lot of that due to luck and right timing i.e modern advances came just as Europe was on the come up. When the Ottoman Empire got to Vienna you don't think they also wanted to conquer all of western Europe and also all of Africa and North America if they could? Of course they did. That was the game for most of the world and its empires. Expand as far as you could from British and French to Ottomans to the Chinese or Mughals. Some did more barbaric stuff i.e the France and Belgium took savage to a new level, but lets not act like back then with the morality levels back then, everyone wouldn't taken over the world if they could.

This what happens when a mixed person has been treated as white and sheltered all of their life. Everything around Meghan Markle over the years has been white. Friends, ex husband, TV shows she's been on. Now she's caught off guard and upset when a group of white people (high profile) have treated her for what she really is, which is a black woman. It's obvious that it's a new experience and one she never had to deal with previously.
