i've asked before and never got an answer about whether or not she had some kind of mental challenge or something over the years that was hidden in plain site. Like is she on the spectrum or something? I can't understand why this legal battle over her estate has been going on this long.

She's been like that. Even before the father took over everything, if you peel back early interviews, you could see she was different from the other teen stars at the time. They all seemed happy to be there and said the generic shyt, but Britney would say something like, "Oh I used to walk naked in my house all the time" and you wonder, "what the fukk!?".
