Crazy how AEW was supposed to be the no drama positive place but all you ever hear about them is the bullshyt, imagine coming from WWE under Vince and expecting better but you get worse, you’d prolly end up knocking nikkas out and choking ppl

Someone somewhere will get the bright idea to be a super cool super chill boss and then invariably the place turns into a madhouse. People will always be dumb shytheads if you let them, it's the reason we have leaders in the first place.

She's mid in the ring but is still the only woman in AEW that actually cut good promos that moved storylines.

The whole issue with her is that you can't move stories because she's impossible to work with. So her promo skills are meaningless and end up in a eternal circle jerk about how important she is and nothing else

But that's just it. Mercedes has had classic matches with several people on the roster at this point, the Dr. Britt match... she tried but... it was another Dr. Mid showcase. That's the problem.

It's not good enough to be able to cut a solid promo. WWE is the same, most of the women who are pushed can wrestle.

The match was OK, I'm not talking about how good the match is though, I'm talking about promos that make you excited about the story and seeing what happens next/watching the match.

The first promo with Mercedes did that, and that's valuable. The other women in AEW don't have that. That's why she was able to get the power she had.

That's where the wrestling culture shift to breh. It sucks but signs of the times.

On this side of town I'm just enjoying OmGOATs on his best gaijin steez, Cyber Agent making moves with NOAH and em, and farting with some of the homies on here.

I unignored because I unloaded the clip on trips and just treating this place like other wrestling outlets, as it's not the same magic as how it used to be ..but I gotta get my wrasslin news somewhere without mark residue

Back on topic, Britt is Britt. I'm indifferent but actually didn't mind her work when she was cooking.

Yes she fell the hell off, but what can ya do. Her being in NXT would be pointless, and honestly she could ride the indie wave. Maybe go to the land of the rising sun to get that Joshi energy.

But for now it's juelzing, company shareholder babble, and mean spirited nonsense as if the typical wrestling fan can't relate, because they are not in the shoes of these wrestlers.
