From what I recall, Patrick was the one trying to get at her, and she would dismiss him as more of a friend because he is a year younger. Patrick kept simping and bringing her flowers and shyt, and she finally gave him a chance, and the rest is history.
This couple....it's different. Most of these dudes meet "the one" either really early like Steph/Ayesha, Bron/Savanah....or it's well after they made bank and the woman is 100% about the $$$.
