Who cares what a kid is cool with? I wasnt cool with the amount of money my pops gave me as a kid . And the kid is super young...they have 0 concept of any of this.

$5500 is more than enough to take care of his needs and for him to live beyond comfortably. Thats more than the average adult brings home BEFORE taxes.
