Her making a mistake doesn't change the fact that she's bound to the laws of another country that's not the US. All the empathy in the world isn't going to change the fact that she's at the mercy of the Russian Government because of her own doing. Like a lot of us having been saying, she's not the only US citizens that's locked up over there and they've been there longer than she has. She's no more important to be moved to the front of the line compared to everyone else.
