Jon Snow is more of Mary Sue then Arya Stark is.
Dude is pretty much perfect. Good looking (Melissandre wants to smash, Khalessi, Ygritte, etc), Great fighter, Great leader, a secret Targaryean so he has strongest claim to Iron Throne, can ride Dragons and most importantly is the only character who continuously gets rewarded for not compromising his morals. Everyone else in the show get killed or punished for strictly adhering to their morals. Everyone but Jon Snow.

It would have been dope to see a 1 on 1 with the Night King and Jon Snow, it looked like it was leading up to it, as part of his arc. But in this case, 'subverting expectations' was done well imo. It would have been cooler if she was disguised as one of his generals and did it or even if Jamie Lannister did it. If Jon Snow did it, it basically confirms mary sue status.

Jon Snow is basically a shonen protagonist, he's infinitely more of a Mary Sue than Arya is.
I disagree here

Jon Snow has been through some shyt throughout his character arc and has paid for it damn near every time

With the except of the Targ lineage, he has earned the shyt he has been through

Star Wars is dead...let it die already

Not dead as in "no one is going to pay to see Star Wars"

Obviously not. But as a franchise? This shyt is dead until Episode 10 when the new shyt starts in a new galaxy and a whole new story.

Let this shytty ass Skywalker saga finally end so we can move the fukk on

Ya'll really want to keep going after the garbage that was episode 8??

Stop.

Ep. 8 is flames

TheForce.net: RUMOR: The End Of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Described
* The rumor is that Matt Smith isn’t Palpatine reborn or rejuvenated but a dark side acolyte.
* However, during The Rise of Skywalker, Smith’s character is willfully possessed by the spirit of Emperor Palpatine.
* During the final act of the film Rey and Kylo team up to fight the Palpatine possessed Matt Smith.
* The two-on-one duel is pretty intense for the duo.
* Eventually Kylo Ren kills Palpatine’s host body
* Palpatine’s spirit then jumps into Kylo Ren’s body.
* Kylo Ren is strong enough to not lose total control of his mental faculties.
* Kylo Ren struggles to take control of his body but subdues himself and his weapon while beckoning Rey to kill him.
* Kylo does the right thing and becomes Ben Solo again as he sacrifices himself to kill Palpatine.
* Rey having never toyed with the dark side like Kylo Ren and the acolyte did means Palpatine has body evil enough to inhabit.
So.. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, basically :francis:

Arya trained for years to become a literal magic assassin

SHE LITERALLY KILLED DEATH
This is why I don't get the Mary Sue shyt.

REY is a Mary Sue. She just became a damn near Jedi Master in a matter of one movie. She was able to do battle with Kylo Ren, a person who had been trained in the ways of the Force since he was a child.

They could have easily said: Hey when there are less Jedi, the force will channel itself through the remaning practioners to preserve the balance between light and darkside. But they did'nt even do that! They just did Rey is strong because Rey is strong.

This is also why I don't get the Jon Snow Mary Sue shyt either

- b*stard son of Ned Stark. There is ZERO chance this man was not trained in the ways of the sword since he became a man in that world. Kat Stark might have hated him, but it was understood that Ned never treated Jon like a b*stard and raised him as similarly to Robb and the rest of the children as possible.

- He was a man of the Nights Watch. He definitely trained up there as well and he was'nt some softy either considering the environment.

- Jon Snow had a good foundation of right and wrong and duty and honor and all that shyt from Ned....BEFORE he went to The Wall. This is why he didn't fit in with those cats at first. The people at The Wall were murderers and thieves and low lifes while he despite being a b*stard, was high born and willingly chose to go there.

Everything that Jon went through up until the Battle of Winterfell (assuming this actually happens in the books) allowed him to be able to survive this shyt.

Him not killing the NK is some petty shyt to be upset about because even the NK was'nt trying to shoot the fair one with him

The year 3030
Wait what did I miss I thought palpitine was killed by Vader

so far, he has been...but that damn laugh at the end of the Rise trailer got everyone speculating.

Hope it's just a flashback and/or maybe a force ghost.

Brining him back would be fukking stupid, especially how the trilogy's gone so far...they'd really have to shoehorn a retarded reason why he's alive and waited so long.

She hasn’t been training for shyt

Her first trainer was more of a dancer than a fighter and got his ass handed to him by a low level knight

The next time we see her training is directly in Season 5 with the Faceless men (who themselves aren’t unbeatable since Jaquen is a prisoner when we first meet him)

She kills ONE person and goes blind and trains a bit with a stick

Gets her sight back and STILL repeatedly almost gets killed by the waif

Barely manages to survive and get back to Westeros, which is the end of her training

She’s had 1 1/2 Seasons of training, B

She trained with the water dancer, who was besting knights with a wooden prop sword. She trained with the Brotherhood (she was sparring and getting archery lessons), she trained with Hound (shadow sparring with him coaching her), then trained with Faceless Men. And now she's training since she's been back to Winterfell (showed her practicing and sparring with Brienne).

That shyt was super duper asschecks breh:hhh:

Sometimes I think I'm the only person on the Internet with a moderate opinion about Episode 8. :skip:

Like, it's not my favorite Star Wars movie but I don't think it's the worst movie ever either. There's no way it's worse than Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones.
