to answer the question you pulled from Youtube.
I think there is a lot of confusion, even in this commentary. This is why as scientists we must be precise and name names of those who are making claims and their reasons for doing so. Otherwise, one will be making blanket statements do not apply to all in given category, which would make their entire statement false. Serious scholars of ancient Egyptian history never claim that the Greeks, for example, "stole" the knowledge from Egypt. They were taught. They attended Egyptian schools. We have many records from those time periods informing us of this. It is the later Renaissance scholars who tried to deny Greek deference to Egypt, thus the "stolen legacy." Martin Bernal called it the "Aryan Model."
With that in mind, the commenter doesn't know what a nTr is, and we can tell by his usage of the word "spooky nature spirits." Ntrw are forces, elements of nature. The Egyptians used the nTrw primarily in areas of health. This is why Homer said the following:
"For the fertile soil of Egypt is most rich in herbs, many of which are wholesome in solution, though many are poisonous. And in medical knowledge the Kemetian leaves the rest of the world behind. He is the true son of Paeon the Healer." [Homer, IV. 217-230]
Conquest and "power" is not the aim for the use of African sacred knowledge: medicine is. While Egypt had iron, for example, before many nations in Asia, they never thought to make weapons with them, while other nations did. As a result, they had better weaponry then Egypt in the latter years. This, along with infighting within Egyptian government, lead to its downfall.
We giver deference to Egypt because Egypt's focus, like the rest of Black Africa, was on developing human beings, not political power. This is a strength and a weakness. Those whose aim was power (e.g., Greeks, Persians, Romans, Arabs, British, etc.) were better equipped for that task. We look to Africa in general, and Egypt in particular, for great examples of what it means to be human. Regardless of how one feels about Egypt, there is no comparable Hebrew or Arab (Black or White) that has captured the world's imagination, without war, like Egypt. That's the testimony of the power of the Wisdom that came out of the Nile-Valley, whose origins is in the Great Lakes of east-central Africa.
Lastly, in Africa there is no focus on making men gods. For us, God is the only thing that exist. You couldn't not be god if you wanted to. That is not the focus. Our focus is on developing human beings. An idea that is greater than a god. We achieve this goal through the learning and practicing of mAa.t, Ubuntu, Iwa Pele, etc.
