Brock's contract makes it foolish...no question...but typically they do try new feuds on the house show circuit, so the performers are more comfortable with each other.

It's a fresh matchup on a house show.

That and the US title being below Lesnar are the problems. I can understand wanting the US title to mean something but even Del Rio holding it when he's a multi-time world champion is a stretch. At a certain point some guys should only compete for the top prize and Lesnar is exactly the kind of guy who would never care about the US title. Del Rio vs Lesnar on Pay-Per-View is something I would like to see though.
