It was small, but that was honestly one of my favourite bits of continuity they've done in recent years. I watched the episode after he demanded it just to see if they followed through.

He is an oldd man and not in training shape/routine, and he has his money. What reason does he have to make a career out of it? He gets paid alot to squash people in WWE a few times a year then back to fukking Sable's ass at home

WWE better capitalize on this and air a special on the Network showing his training and/or a sit down interview with him as the fight gets closer. WWE needs a daily flagship sportscenter type show with instant analysis when big news like this breaks.

Wouldn't it hurt WWE if Brock loses right before Summerslam considering how much they protect him
They can book around it but they don't have a lot of time. If he loses then Heyman's gotta have an amazing, passionate promo ready so he can build him up as a hurt beast that is gonna destroy someone at Summerslam. Vince can always through him to the bushes if he takes an L at UFC 200 but he's too big of an investment to not continue to protect him. and in the case he loses, "rebuild" him.
Now, if Brock gets fukked up at UFC 200 then that's bigger issue because he would have to miss Summerslam and that's a little harder to book around.
If he wins then it's all gravy because they can do whatever the fukk they want with him. Including making him job at Summerslam, so when (probably Roman) beats him it's at Brock's peak of credibility.

Only real upside to this for WWE is Brock beats whoever it is & feels like he finally got to close the MMA chapter of his career that he has always seemed dissatisfied with because of how it ended. And then they go back to the status quo with him.
The downsides could be him losing or getting hurt. Maybe he wins & decides fukk it he wants to keep fighting so he leaves.
Even if they worked out a deal with UFC to bring in Ronda (which I doubt UFC would let happen especially until they get to use her again first & she just had surgery), their not even getting the same Ronda as if she never lost & was on top of the world. Plus they would bring her in & put her over somebody who actually works for them anyway

Prolly a short term trade for Rousey or McGregor, knowing WWE it would be Rousey, it checks all the boxes. Knowing WWE they would think shes as popular as she was in 2015, have her bury the up and coming divas division and then she leaves without ever losing
