Considering brock been in this system before and the original back up was a rookie, it's the smart move. Sucks to lose a Pro Bowl level safety to make it.

Ward was gone when we extended Stewart last year. Plus the staff is high on Simmons and Parks has come along too. With Ward being injured the team got to experiment with the safeties this camp and preseason. Defense looked real good with Simmons / Parks in the back and Stewart coming down as a nickel LB. Then when you add in Jamal Carter showing out it was a matter of time. Carter is too good to stash on the practice squad, Simmons matches up better against TE's and Stewart looks to be as good when coming down to play in the box. It sucks to lose Ward but I see why the team did it. Hope he gets picked up anywhere except the AFC West.

As for Assweiler...

Hope he doesnt see the field at all. Praying to the Lord that the O-line holds up Siemian doesnt get injured. Just need to make it to Wk 3 and drop his ass. How the fukk you throw a fumble???

Yeah i feel where you coming from. Ward was just one of my favorite players, he just brought that energy you know. But I got a bad feeling someone in the AFC west or a team like the steelers gonna pick him up
