When the CJ Strouds & Jayden Daniels of the world get to their contract extensions, the going rate for franchise QB’s will probably be $75 Million or more. We’re eventually going to see the first $100 Million per year QB in 5-10 years.
Don’t forget, the cap keeps going up each year. The salary cap right now is at $280 Million. In 5 years, the cap could be close to $400 Million, which would make $75 Million per year contracts look like a bargain.
