That 200-600k range is very attainable at that age in tech - salary + stock. Seems like too many $1M + salaries but I know people who go into private equity are making that in their 30’s. High income earners tend to hang with other high income earners - some of those friends might be friends from working at the same company therefore they all making 4-500k. It’s social media, so of course there’s always an opportunity for , but it’s not unreasonable to collect a crew of friends that are all high income if they all work in the same highly paid industry

It's a site for people within a company or industry that can sign up on and anonymously ask questions and gain insight. (it's not cap either because the only way you can gain access to it is through your work email account)

I mentioned that, cause there's a ton of value in people discussing salary numbers across industry and within their own company because when it comes to negotiating, you have a good idea on what others are seeing for example.

Ability to leave the country (I have a boy who is married, and he can touch every corner of the US but his wife wont let him step foot outside the country with the fellas)
Airline preference

Folks get and stay rich by not sharing that info with people like us. I’ve kinda floated in a few rooms with people who make real money and they don’t get there by sharing their secrets. What game are you trying to soak up when they have built in advantages? That’s their connection

I have people in my fam that are rich on their way to being wealthy. The main thing I see is a mindset. They see opportunities different than most people. But truthfully if you kick with like minded people you’ll pick on those habits. Like someone mentioned above.


The well off people I know don’t work for time. As in punching the clock.

Ok I understand that. I can appreciate that concept. But Fishbowl is anonymous. The idea in the OP is not. In fact the members of the group were low key exposed, to anyone who knows them, in a viral video because one ‘friend’ decided to be reckless.

Yeah it's attainable if he went to Stanford/Harvard/Penn/ MIT and works in Tech,Venture Capital, PE, Entreprise Sales or IB.


But even still most of his crew would have to be over achievers to make that type of money in their late 20s/early 30s assuming he's that age range.
