nikka stop caping. This is the only thread where I'll actually agree with these coli militants about the stupidity behind rap music. If I pull up anyone of this nikkas songs, the entire theme is how he:
- gets money
- sells so much dope that he can throw away money
- everyone else is broke boys
- riding foreign

But now, when he dies, his family can't set up shop for his funeral? Really? My nikka let's get real on this shyt. Cats get a pass for gang banging 100% based on their environment. But we ain't out here giving passes for fake rich guy lyrics.

At some point you nikkas gotta draw a line in the sand of what you're going to accept from these fake ass cats.

Instead of raps about how he got a house on his wrist, or my salary on his neck, he should've been writing lyrics about leaving his parents to pay for his debt.

I don't think the OP is mad at the family. He's mad at the hypocrisy of the now dead rapper and his friends. You know the same friends that call themselves "Glo Gang."

I understand it comes off as disrespectful. But it's def something we need to talk about more in public imo. We don't need to say names (to keep it respectful), but this shyt is becoming ridiculous. Seeing cats pour up and talk about money, then need gofundme accounts for their funerals is crazy. I don't know how we can broach this topic in a respectful way, but I feel this needs to be THE CONVERSATION in hip hop from now on.

you're missing the point... the avg funeral cost $7-10k and it's not like you have to pay it flat out in cash.. funeral homes have financing and plans and shyt.. they understand everyone in america and most people, don't have 10 stacks laying around in case someone gets in a car accident


what people can't seem to understand is with rappers only... you don't see this with other genre's... you def don't see it with other famous entertainers

when you making even 1k a show... 500 a show.. it's very hard to imagine, you don't even have 10k to your name.. 5k to put half up... 2k for a downpayment... not enough money to even have a funeral service.. let alone some life insurance.. ESPECIALLY when you rap about either the streets (should be aware how quick a life can end) or money (shouldn't be rapping bout money knowing you ain't got any)

Ask yourself, who was paying to see/hear Hussein Fatal in 2015? 2010? 2005? it's not like this dude was sitting on a fortune from his Hit Em Up verse in 1996.
