There are several interesting and valid stances in this thread in terms of arguments regarding materialism, dishonesty in entertainment, the impact of death on a family financially...
What one person said, 'you don't live the lifes these people do' is the most fitting explantation....Yes, it is hypocisy and foolish, and in this case tragic, that someone allegedly making music about dope, money and fame left his family with the burial costs.....and I see some constructive and applicable advice about life insurance, but do you really think these dudes are going to get life insurance policies? Their lives are hectic, violent, very myopic, drugged the fukk out complete departures from lives that many relate to, and fewer live....I'm speaking to the Chicago one, and those guys in general, I can mostly assume they DO NOT have discussions like this in their real lives, layered conversations involving multiple issues and then applying the conversation to their real lives.....what we are doing is a level of awareness that someone in that life generally will not have. Maybe all of us do not have life insurance, or even health insurance, or even jobs....but we are able to understand them as real world concepts, and how to obtain them...that is the difference, or one of them.
