In a way they kinda forced him to opt in. They said if you don't opt in, we're trading you to the Lakers. Lakers are on a huge downwards spiral that teams are threatening to trade players to us.



It was all good 2 years ago.

He could have opted out tomorrow had he not opted in months ago. I think it was more his family than the threat of being sent to the Lakers that manipulated him into staying.

Seriously fukk this dude. How can he blame Orlando for fukking up last year, he fukked it up himself because he didn't want to hurt Orlando's feelings by leaving when they had a good record.

If he stuck to his guns and opted out even if he was traded last year, we coulda had Dwight and Deron locked down, plus Brooks, Lopez (trade piece), and the #6 pick (or better because Crash actually helped us win a game or two). He fukked this up, now he can't deal with it.
