Steve Kyler: Sources say out of the blue without consulting anyone, Dwight called the NBAPA and asked if he could force his way out of Orlando... Twitter

Steve Kyler: NBAPA told him that he had no grounds and his only option was to ask for a trade or play out his contract

He should just keep quiet, play out the contract and become a free agent in a year. You made your bed, now lay in it.

No doubt Orlando will try and trade him anyways. But he should just accept a trade to whichever team offers the best deal. He's in no position to demand a trade to one specific team.

Orlando should let him rot til his contract is up why do him any favors or trade him to a bottom feeder

So they can at least get something out of him. I think stranding his ass on the Bobcats is the best thing for Orlando or work out a three team deal for a few picks.

Dwight to Chicago. Rose will straighten him out.

shyt don't even remotely make sense with Dwight swearing he's going to the Nets no matter what.

If Rose was healthy and ready to go at the start of the season it'd make more sense, but as things stand right now that'd be a waste.

Dwight is a herb, but he's one of the few franchise players in the league and a defensive anchor.

Every year of his prime(2008-) the magic win 50 games and are elite defensively with a cast of mediocre to average role players around him.
