Broken record: Dwight is asking to be traded to the Nets

If anything he hasn't been selfish enough. Had he stuck to his guns he'd be a free agent right now with the world in hands like 'Bron 2 summers ago. Instead the media's witch-hunt to find someone to be mad at, scared him into making decisions to avoid criticism.

Didn't help that they had sooooo many leaks coming out that organization. It was a smear campaign combined with a guilt trip. Fukkin pathetic.

Well it is selfish in that his motivation is to benefit himself. Nothing wrong with being selfish because the only person who is gonna look out for you is you. I don't have an issue with the selfish part I have an issue with the stupid part. He's counting on Orlando to just bend over and give him what he wants (Brooklyn and max money). It's quite a gamble and if they trade him to Brooklyn I can't knock the hustle but if they don't and boy do I hope they don't then .

I'd say it's more pathetic that he fell for it and let it affect his decision.

Before him constantly going back and forth with his decision NOBODY would have begrudged him for leaving. The Magic's front office did a horrible job building a team around him.

And all of those leaks didn't come from the Magic Organization. A lot of his people were leaking that shyt too. And as I said in another thread, he doesn't make things any better with how vague he is during interviews.

This is on Dwight. The 2 biggest parties being inconvenienced are the team he's on now and the team he wants to join, all cuz Dwight can't think for himself.

who has Dwight shown care to, other than himself.....he throws his coach under the bus, and request that he is fired...he throw his teammates under the bus saying they arent playing hard enough when he laughin on the bench during blowouts and requesting a trade behind the scene...he gets this whole media frenzy started during the trade deadline week, only to opt back into his contract giving the Magic front office hope and in most assurance for atleast the next year...but nope, Dwight starts demanding trades again in the offseason, and demands to be traded to a team that doesnt have the assets to get him, then he threatens every non-Brooklyn team basically saying if you trade for me, you will be wasting assets because im def not resigning..it lowers his value, and this all could have been put to rest if HE wasnt concerned with HIS reputation so got damn much

Honestly this couldve been solved THE first time he asked for a trade last november. Otis dealt him to the nets only to have management hill the deal.

Nets Gave them lopez, wallace and was taking on the bad contracts of turk and duhon. Orl fukked up by trying to convince him. shyt couldve been over with.

No he fukked up by signing the extension. Dwight, Deron, Brooks and no cap room ain't winning a title. It would've been better for him to walk and sign as FA and as far as the Magic go those pieces arent' gonna win shyt for you either. They would be better off letting him walk, sucking and likely getting the top pick again next year.

All that shyt was in the background until the deadline. Thats when he became the headline. Thats when the criticism came. Thats when they used the affect of said criticism to guilt him into staying.

He said it himself during this press conference that he was going back and forth..He said it multiple times in fact and cited his "Loyalty".

It wasn't in the background until the deadline. He first requested a trade before the season even began and the shyt was ongoing from that point on. The only time it died down was when the team went on a winning streak and held the third seed in the east.

Because everybody reporting on this stuff made it a point to distinguish which camp certain info was coming from. It'd either be "Sources close to Dwight" or "Sources within the Magic Organization".
