I've never been a fan of Dwight, but I wouldn't call myself a hater. For ages I just didn't like watching him play because he didn't really have any post moves. But now, sign me up for the hate club on this nikka. This dude has made some of the stupidest contract decisions I've ever seen in sports

I hope he's traded to the Nets but they don't land D-Will, so Howard gets stuck on a team even worse than Orlando. That shyt would be hilarious

that's his & peepz plan -people can't knock him till we see what the result

It's still quite a risk. If he takes this stand last year and they trade him elsewhere he could've played it out for a month or milked the back injury and sat out and be on his way to BK right now with a nice little squad. Now he's in a position where if the Magic don't trade him to BK he won't be able to go unless he takes much less money and if they do the squad is pretty much gonna be gutted.

He would've went to Houston or LA, played out the year and would've been in Brooklyn right now.

Getting traded had nothing to do with him opting in.

Top 5 player in the league tells you he wants to leave you supposed to just let him walk? Not get any kind of value for him?

Unless they get a high pick or nice young player in return it's better to let him walk. Sucking with cap space and a high lottery pick > having a bunch of good players that are locked in for a minute. If they could get Bynum then certianly they should do it but it's not worth if for filler.

Keep hearing the Dwight Howard sweepstakes has wider net than many realize. One team to watch in particular is LA. Clippers are a darkhorse.

Word around the league is that Dwight Howard's value has fallen because of back injury and the way he handled his impending free agency. One exec I spoke to said that a package of DeAndre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe, and Caron Butler might be enough. Relationship between Howard and the Magic is turning ugly in a hurry.

so they suppoased to just let him walk in the offseason?....Orlando obviously wasnt interested in entertaining NJ at the time..they suppoased to trade him to a team and get minimum value just because he wants to play there?..lol, its never worked like that

so ur basically saying da organization can be selfish by trying to acquire da best for them BUT da player can't :snoop:

And they'd hang up on him and rightfully so.

Orlando should only trade Dwight for a bunch of young pieces huge upside+picks or Bynum+Filler.

:russ::lolbron: sounds like someone put that big goofy nikka up on game and told him he may not be getting what he wants.

@RicBucher says Dwight wants to be a Net b/c he wants more say in decisions for the franchise. Lakers won't give him that power.

LOL. What has this fool done in the past 4-5 months to make anyone think that his word is worth anything? LOL at "say in decisions for the franchise"... Today he'll want them to go get a certain player, then backtrack and say "nah I ain't want that nikka"
