Bron Ball isn't inherently the problem.
The problem is that the rest of the league has adapted and in the case of GSW, adapted and leap frogged everyone else.
Like can we honestly say that if Cleveland ran a more motion offense that they wouldve beaten GSW?
I dont think so. They didnt have the personnel/youth to keep pace with them.
This is the basically the 2017 argument of "why doesnt everyone run the triangle offense".
With certain teams and player, they are who they are. And you stick with what got you there. People til this day don't understand why the Seahawks have a paltry offensive line and aren't a dynamic offensive team. Why? Because Pete Carrol knows it was a stifling defensive secondary and offensive clock control they made them such a juggernaut. Making them anything more than that would mean completely gutting the current roster.
