LeBron touts Steph for MVP ahead of play-in tilt
Live look at Jokic fans:
Just covering his own ass for if he loses
Told dudes that Bron has been paying attention to those Steph performances, but that one breh insisted otherwise
Edit: It was @DaRock who said it
Bron knows a thing or 2 about the greatness required to cary trash teams to a positive record. When Curry's #2 went down before the season even started he was left with literal G-Leaguers like Nico Mannion and Alien Snailgic... when Murray went down MPJPLS immediately stepped up and played better than he had all season. Real recognize real
Make no mistake about it, it’s major shade to Jokic
I hope Jokic takes it as pure disrespect because it is
You’re out of pocket. Jokic carried the Nuggets all year. It didn’t stop when Murray got hurt.
MPJ did step up, though, and show he’s the truth.
Joker needs to win this chip already. It’ll happen at some point.
Nothing more than Pandering to Steph in hopes of getting him on the Lakers
I don't think Bron was trying to be disrespectful to Jokic.
It was more his admiration for Steph and thinking about his own storyline/narrative. I can guarantee you if the Lakers were up against the Nuggets in the play-in tournament, he would've said Jokic is the MVP.
What? There's no way LeBron thinks he should win MVP and last season when he thought he should win he didn't "cover his own ass" and pretty much said he should win. And earlier this season he said he should have had more votes before he got hurt.
Or if he wins the narrative will be that “he beat a MVP candidate”
When the Akron Hammer and Akron Sniper force their way to play together in Cleveland. Cavs in 4
