I've constantly made arguments over the years as Bron has gotten older, in defense of him, not to protect anyone else but stating the obvious around how expectations should be adjusted around someone who's aging, someone who's playing at a level at an age that players before haven't. No shyt, he shouldn't be playing entire halves at his age, but that speaks to how bad their roster is, that they needed him out their for that long in order to be competitive.
The two main bench players in Games 4 and 5 had 2 points between them in 65 minutes combined. That's why Bron needed to play the minutes he did because the bench wasn't giving them a cotdamn thing. The Lakers didn't have any playable bigs. That's why Bron needed to play the minutes he did because he was help anchoring the defense and help battle Minny's frontcourt.
