I think it depends on how this season goes. If he plays poorly the entire season and doesn't get to a higher level his ego won't allow it. He will play one more year.

How was the fall off this sudden. He was at 25 last year and coasting. There was no gradual decline it went from normal Bron to this

I had back surgery a little over 3 months ago to deal with pretty crippling sciatica. It started with general numbness in my hip and left leg that over the span of a year or so turned into constant, debilitating nerve pain and numbness throughout my entire leg along with throwing my back out a few times. I’m an electrician and have been back to work for about a month and a half. Now luckily my sciatica is completely gone now, but my back is still weak. Gradually working myself back to health while not trying to overdo it at work or at home with my kid.

Of course the level of treatment that LeBron has access to absolutely dwarfs me, but still. It is absolutely insane to me that he’s able to do all this shyt right now in the games that he has played. Before I had these issues I never thought about sciatica or figured it was something minor that old folks deal with. If it gets to a certain point, it will ruin your every single moving moment. So I’m not surprised that these issues are really fukking him up right now. He can’t just tough this one out
