That works both ways. Compare the amount of coverage he gets to players drafted around him. Hell there are some rookies having solid ass years that get far less coverage than Bronny. That's the problem. And with that increased coverage comes increased scrutiny. If the coverage went away no one would have anything to complain about but any time Bronny does anything halfway decent it makes headlines.
Except why is it a problem?
What I'm trying to figure out is, why y'all have an issue with what is such a miniscule amount of coverage about a player who is directly linked to arguably the most publicized star the game has ever seen, when a large amount of NBA discourse is about generating clicks and pushing dumbass agendas (don't have to look too far with this SAS drama).
You're acting like the coverage about Bronny would be otherwise be about another rookie, when we know that wouldn't be the case.
It's low hanging fruit to be worried about the publicity he's getting when there are actual issues with the gamut of the NBA's public profile.
And y'all really need to stop lying to yourselves saying that nobody would be complaining if the headlines went away. That's just a convenient excuse to use because it's easier to justify Bron hate.
If it was the son of a player that y'all stan to the end of the Earth, the energy would be entirely different.
