There isn't. Already broke Chicagos regular season record, got a ring, and doesn't play in a top 3 media market. The only expectation left is in the locker room, not what talking heads say. The expectation should be win games, get to the finals, and hope to see Bron & them for the fade a third time to settle the shyt slinging back n forth.

People are expecting you guys to be the "greatest team ever" since singing Durant. :comeon:

There were people saying you guys wouldn't lose 5 games this season .:heh:

:upsetfavre:You mean the haters are saying that because they want a narrative built in to clown the Warriors if they lose. If the Warriors do make it, then those same people will be saying :yeshrug: because of Durant.

I personally want that Ol school Lakers/Celtics shyt. A rivalry between conference best, that's been missing for a minute. We almost had it with Heat/ Spurs, but Bron broke out.

Last Finals was a classic, but both these organizations whose been basically doormats for the better part of the last 30-40 years, if can reach the finals again, will become legendary. It's not really a expectation, but it would be dope if it happens.

Breh, I called Durant to the Warriors during the regular season last year. It was obvious to me that he would be a significant upgrade over Barnes, and would benefit from the Dubs team friendly scheme. It was a smart business move, but people are too emotional to even look at it like that. It's not like losing to the Cavs made a difference in getting him.

Durant is ‘damn sure’ he wouldn’t have signed with the Warriors if they won the title

Some part of Durant knew he'd already punched his ticket. "It felt like that whole thing was set up for me to leave," he says, "especially after they blew a lead in the finals, because I damn sure wasn't going there if they'd won. But after Game Seven, I called up my agent and said, 'Damn, dude, Golden State – what if?' "
