I'm happy to see Bronny's confidence is higher and he's finding success. And supposedly he had an early offer from Kentucky before HS but he wasn't prioritized.

I follow HS hoops recruiting and by his senior year the B1G programs weren't prioritizing him either

It all dried up at the end, apparently they were hoping at least UCLA would be interested late but never happened

This is someone off the couch with a debilitating hip. G-League is an awful level of professional basketball

TBF IT could still score in the league right now. Problem is he'd be such a liability on defense. So a natural scorer in an environment like that would thrive.

I think Reed is a good example . He dominated and still hasnt fully cracked the rotation of a playoff team yet.

Maybe if they only had to play home games they would

Moses Brown looks like Wilt Chamberlain in the G League, take from that what you will
He's been playing there for more than half a decade, he should be dominating :heh:

Plenty of established NBA vets have gotten their start in the G-League. Bronny is a 20 year old rookie already proving he's too good for it.

Not sure USC's current head coach would've offered either
I think both sides of the argument can be true.

Elohim was the best player on that Sierra Canyon team and now he just averages 2 points at USC.
Amari Bailey was better than Bronny in HS, college and averaged 20+ in the G League....he's no longer on a guaranteed contract.
Caleb Foster and Mikey Williams were clearly better HS players and now are just rotation players in college.

Bronny has been given the opportunity, but at least since January he's finally taking advantage of it.

I think that was the bigger question. Was he too deferential to even make the most of the opportunity that others didnt get. At least he's doing that now.

When he was playing in the Summer League I had questions of it he'd even try to score 20 points in a G League game. So progress :manny:

*I do think if Mikey or Caleb or Amari were "forced" into lead guard/30 mins they'd score 20+ in G League as well. However good to see he's capable of doing that as well.

Ohio State considered a blue blood? Most of the big schools backed off towards the end cause they recognized he was either gonna stay in LA or head back towards Ohio

This was always known

HS recruiting def hit or miss, but that 2023 class was one of the weakest classes in probably 10 years, while 2024 has been one of the stronger classes.

Mikey Williams never did anything that impressed me, and his offer list reflected that....dude can dunk that's it.

Bronny is developing a chip on his shoulder which will benefit him going forward.
