Look, I'm just saying: I remember '01, '04 and what we've done to Oakland in '01, the Indians this year. Anything can happen.
this shyt is HOUSE MONEY, for Houstons sake they better win these last two and get to a world series. This was the last good look for both them and Cleveland, barring health.

once Torres and Frazier are up next year + that A-Rod/CC '09 money comes off the books and gets pumped back into the team, the AL is on look for the foreseeable future. that's why even at 0-2 with Houston scraping by the hair on their chins for wins I was sitting here like :mjlol::pachaha:

He's been better than Ellsbury.

That said, IF we advance, Clint Frazier has to be activated. He looks born ready for games like this.
I been saying this...especially with us losing the DH for half the games, no reason to have a nonfactor like holiday on the roster over clint. Plus add shreve over dellin too.

Can't quite pinpoint what Tanaka is doing better but it seems near the end of the regular season something clicked -- either with him or the analytics department.

He's still throwing his Slider but it looks like he's dialed back the Sinker to RHBs since it was getting crushed pretty good all year. Same with the Cutter.
He really seems to have taken more faith in his Splitter which...while it doesn't have as much movement as his sinker, the hitters are having a harder time elevating it.

I'm curious to see what the pitch selection was for tonight's game.

Kahnle was the centerpiece of that trade, if you really follow the game you knew that...I love how demonstrative dude is after he strikes out a batter. He got that DR-type swag...
Oh yeah, I realized that after the fact we traded Rutherford.

They also had the goodwill to take back Clippard too :wow:
