I don't understand why the Astros are starting Morton over McCullers.
Yes, the entire staff (sans Verlander) will be available tonight, but this just doesn't make much sense.

There was a good stretch during the season where McCullers was Houston's best pitcher.
The only thing I can think is that Morton held lefties to a .172 batting average this year. Or that McCullers may not be 100% healthy.

But McCullers induces far more ground balls than Morton and he misses more bats.

In any case look for the Astros to throw a shyt ton of curveballs tonight, particularly away.

As for Sabathia, he's had great success lately with his slider, but I think Houston's RHHs will be looking to turn on it quite a bit...particularly with that joke of a left field fence (what is it? 310 feet or some shyt?)
Sabathia might consider tossing in a few more change ups tonight in lieu of his sinker.

So Morton threw

24 curveballs
14 two seamers
9 four seamers
5 cutters
and 2 splitters

And McCullers:
41 curveballs
12 fastballs
2 changeups

We fukking knew what they were going to do tonight and the Yankees were woefully unprepared.
Just fukking horrific game planning by them.
If some jackass on the fukking coli knew, they had to know.
