Yanks unexpectedly got to Kluber twice. Let us pray...
Big rumor is Kluber was pitching hurt. Either way we will find out what goes down tonight. Astros have scored in the first inning every post season game and I hope that continues.

Astros in 5.
Hurts to say as a Yankees fan but the Astros have too much offense.

For the Yankees to win a lot has to go right.

Judge has to figure out a way to be better against the slider because he’s going to see a lot of them. Or he can’t miss the fastballs when he gets them.

Tanaka and Severino have to win their games. And they can, but Tanaka has been bitten by the homer all year and Houston will do their best to elevate the ball.

I don’t know how much longer Didi can carry the Yankees but he’ll have to because Bird and Gardner are too streaky from the left side.

Judge is getting the blame for his lack of production and strikeouts, but Gary Sanchez hasn’t been any better. And when the Yankees face Keuchel (and maybe McCullers) he will have to make them pay.

Speaking of that, I wonder if Girardi puts Aaron Hicks in at 1B vs starting lefties. God knows Headley is useless.

Judge needs to crowd the plate just a lil more. He has a quick swing he should be able to turn on the fastball.

When they try thats gonna send them boys back to the dugout mad as shyt especially if his breaking stuff is on point like it was against the indians.

Yo I love how they found a way to not start sonny Gray since almost 2 weeks ago

That poor b*stard

Astros in 5 :camby:we not even worried about the stankies, we already thinking about LA:heh:
Quoted.

If the yankees win game 1 they are going to the world series and with the way they fight even down 0-2 I would not count them out.

Yankees in 6.

Keuchel has something like an insane 80% groundball rate.

This will not be easy tonight. Then again I said that about the Kluber games.

Tanaka has had issues with the homer all year. If there’s a silver lining, it’s that in his final start of the season he struck out 15 in 7 innings. And then in the ALDS vs Cleveland he went another 7 striking out 7. Zero runs allowed in both games.

Some ancient history:
On May 14, Tanaka went 1.2 allowing 8 runs and 4 homers in his only start vs Houston this year.

This game could go either way, to me.
I like Keuchel but this could be a battle of the bullpens tonight.
