He has some of the nastiest stuff I've ever seen but has lost the strike zone
Betances never really had the strike zone, he just kinda dabbled and lived near the the edges of it and could eat cause his stuff is so ill but when he's even a little off he's not usable especially against disciplined teams. Why you think he was in the minors for like 7 years trying to put it together as a starter before the front office just said fukk it and threw him in the bullpen to let his stuff play up and hope he can get enough of the strike zone to survive...

I'll always give Betances props for salvaging what otherwise was a disaster known as the Killer B's and he was good, real good. He needs a change, maybe going away from home might get him right. Jaime Garcia is on that team thinking "I thought I had worst pitcher on this team wrapped up."
