Bronx bride gets married 10 times without ever divorcing

A serial Bronx bride is facing felony charges for getting hitched 10 times without a divorce, according to a criminal complaint.


Liana Barrientos, 39, filed marriage papers 10 times – including six times in the span of one year – in Westchester and Long Island, the complaint states.

It was unclear Thursday why the woman got hitched multiple times.

Cops originally arrested Barrientos last November, four years after a detective caught her lying that she had not been married, though she had technically been hitched nine other times, the complaint reads.

She is set to be arraigned Friday in Bronx Supreme Court on charges of filing a false instrument, according to the DA’s office.

Liana Barrientos, 39, is charged with filing a fraudulent marriage license application and a bogus marriage license, said the Bronx District Attorney’s office.
