Hahaha!!!! This is hilarious. Why would a street be named after him..... People really think some of these acts are bigger than they are... If any Hip Hop artist has a chance at this it's 2 Pac and prob Will Smith. Maybe Outkast....

If your most known hits are materialistic trivial shyt, what do you expect.... Make music with no substance brehs.....

I think biggie was a great rapper. Probably top 5. And I live in Clinton Hill. I pass by his house all the time to get to the post office on Fulton. The point is, I have to agree with the decision. And I also agree with folks saying Pac would get a street named in NY faster than big would. Biggie was the best from Brooklyn but he did rap about the negative aspects of the street, murdering up folks and selling drugs. I think Pac wasn't as nice from a technical standpoint but his memorable songs are about uplifting the community, social problems, the disrespect of black women, as well as his thug life songs.

And to be honest, despite these companies making money off our culture, they don't respect it. They don't give a fukk about a hip hop museum. And hip hop hall of fame. It is what it is. Ill still bump Biggie though

Big definitely had moments that are artistically important because they're a credible look into the psyche of a young kid in the hood, somewhat of a justification...

Things Done Changed, Everyday struggle, Suicidal Thoughts, Ready to Die...but those moments are kind of too few and far in between and by a certain point he mostly abandoned anything beyond explanationless violence and misogyny
