Christopher Columbus is 1000x worse and got a whole holiday named after him, predicated on bullshyt. A street named after BIG is so light weight it doesn't even make sense to play the "I'm shocked and offended by his background" card. She could've just said no and kept it moving.

Well if Biggie found Brooklyn he'd get much of his bullshyt looked over too. But he didn't. He only found Junior M.A.F.I.A. We can sit here and debate why every holiday in this country was built off bullshyt, but we'd rather enjoy the day off.

The proposal still has a chance if councilwoman Letitia James issues a letter of support.
