not just for athletes. you got everyday joe sixpacks who still are licensed to drive cars with 6-7 duis to their name. you got that jackass mookie blaylock who had 6 duis since 1996, 3 of them in a year and a half period in 2010/11 and didnt spend any time in jail. how the fukk are guys who endanger the lives of so many, so often still out on the streets, let alone still able to legally drive motor vehicles? its absurd. you should be doing YEARS in prison if you get 3 duis, no ifs ands or buts about it. jason kidd driving a 2 ton weapon down the streets and gets zero penalties because he was lucky enough to wrap his car around a telephone pole rather than another car. other crimes they always focus on intent. he didnt sell the drugs yet, but he intended to. the murder was never committed but they intended to etc. drunk drivers all enter the car with the same intent. why is it only when they happen to kill a person is the punishment harsher, when the intent is the same every time
