The storyline is a bit hackneyed but I'm an Andre Braugher fan. I actually thought the 1st episode had a lot of potential.

For what it is (linear comedy) its pretty good. if ur are a fan of parks/rec work based settinh comedies it'll win you.over.

That is true, new dramas will have to do some incredible shyt to match even half of what BB did.
it's got some potential. haven't seen latest episode yet. seems kinda like a goofy comedy. it's a Fox show right? they not known much for comedies so hopefully it has a decent run.

Yeah Fox, its ep 3 and u can tell its tryna figure itself out aswell. Supporting cast are decent too, hope they get fleshed out a bit more. i honestly think u gotta give comedies a season or two (park/rec aight 1st season much better after that)
terry crews always does his thing and the cute latin girl seems decent. hopefully the other two detectives with his secret love for the rocker chick makes things interesting. I don't think I saw parks first season. I hopped on kind of late prolly around season 3. you likely right about giving comedies a season or two. I think modern family might've been an exception since its been rising from the start.

i watched the first ep.. it was ok. straight forward jokes.. decent characters. pretty good cast. i'll probably watch a few more episodes.

kinda got douche chills with the way they presented that news/story arc. Its really a non factor/hardly evident which leads me to asky why is it even there?

yeah, i was a fan of happy endings too. but i just meant that it reminded me of death valley because of the cops angle.
