Idk wtf all u just said but bottomline it sound like i need to pay a couple n!ggas a visit
If you scroll to the bottom of any forums web page it will tell you the software that the forum uses. A lot of forums use Vbulletin. This forum uses Xenforo. Xenforo is a computer program that lets you create and tailor a forum. The license to use the software costs ~$200.
People need to be able to post on the forum thats created so you have to host it on a website and there needs to be memory storage for all the content people post on the site.
There are Companies that offer cloud storage, since they have thier own servers, and they will let people use thier storage space to run thier forums, and charge them a monthly fee, based on the amount of memory thier forum uses per month. The larger the forum and the more posts/content on the forum, the higher the monthly charge. Monthly charges usually range from $10 for small forums, all the way up to $100 for huuuuge forums.
The good thing is, if your forum has a bunch of people posting on it, advertisers will pay l to advertise to your forums members, and you can use that money to pay the monthly cloud storage fees and then pocket whatever is left.
Amazon, Tmobile, Sprint, Soundcloud, all advertise on this site. That's money for the owners.
People donate money to this site. That's money for the owners.
People buy coli merchandise. That's money for the owners.
There is a one time expense for the software to make your forum, and a monthly fee for the storage space to run your forum. Those are the only costs of running an average site.
Big advertising, donations, and product sales should take care of that and then some.
Cook did good having brooklyzon be the face of the coli, cause how would it look for a white dude to make a mirror forum of another hip hop forum, have all the member migrate over and then make money off them?
That's why it's funny when people bag on Cacs on this site, cause a white dude made this site and is making money off everybody on here.
But Brooklynszon is co owner so...I can't hate on the breh. I can only congratulate.
