So I went up the steet to the store to grab some cheese. Im in there all of 5 minutes when I jump in my car to go home and the bih COMPLETELY dead. Like no clicking noise, no nothing. So my mom came n tried to give me a jump, but we put the terminals on wrong and it sent a shcok and started a small fire on the negative terminal of my battery BUT my car got power again. The inside lights came on and all that shyt. So i turn my car and my car STARTS however it wouldnt let me switch gears to drive or to anything. The break worked. The gas worked, the steering wheel all that shyt worked but I couldnt switch gears at all no matter what we did. One thing I notice that while this happened, my ODOMETER and my RADIO was still off and wouldnt show up, so was the P N D R thing on the dashboard.
I mamage to get it home by doing some neutral switch thing to override it or some shyt, but even that failed the first time cuz the battery died. when we took the terminals off. One thing I did notice that while adjusting the terminals my car interior lights would dim or go off if we moved the battery a certain way. another thing is that my cars headlights have ALWAYS been dim since i got it, like at night i can barely see in front of me, and the bulbs are new.
Someone please help me figure out what the fukk is going on
