For the sake of the "Official" story: Flanagan passed the background checks. However how does more strict laws help if those who "shoot and kill" people passed the background?

most gun crimes are committed with stolen guns so background checks wont stop bad people from doing bad things

In other words....Criminals don't do background checks and don't follow the law. Black-market exist and hasn't been mentioned in the "Gun control" issue.
