I dread the day I "accidentally" enjoy some fried chick and watermelon in front of white folks.....damn you African American experience and context

Let's put this in perspective....does the rest of the African diaspora in the Western Hemisphere have the same sorta "scary moment' when it comes to this food and certain races.... do Jamaicans or Afro -Colombians care if they are eating fried pollo and chicken?? I assume not......its just one of those African American things....and not only that...if I went to Scandanavia or Germany and they saw me eating fried chicken and watermelon would the context be the same or would the American popular culture have contributed that notion to them too that it's... ummmm................. "koonish" for lack of a better word???
