the article may be right, but Chris Broussard is a terrible writer.
It's a bad year for them but nobody expected the Knicks to make any noise this year anyway. Phil couldn't do much with the Knicks lack of flexibility. Next year we will really see what Phil can do when he gets a top draft pick and a bunch of cap space.

The Phil Jackson hire was awful.. If he's not coaching, whats the point
Melo has no help. He is what he is.. but the pieces around him aint worth a damn...
Finally, Fisher was the wrong hire. I love D Fish. But, you cant coach basically your peers. Fisher JUST finished playing against this group. There's no respect level. Fisher cant properly make certain guys accountable.
