It has to be the atmosphere there cuz when I look Atthat roster and then I look at the roster that harden has been playing with most of the season it's crazy to think that Houston has a .700 winning percentage and the Knicks are the exact opposite. Melo should be able to carry that team to at least a .500 record. He a rookie coach but the blame has to go on fisher. Melo is what he is, and everybody involved in that resigning was already aware of that

Finally, Fisher was the wrong hire. I love D Fish. But, you cant coach basically your peers. Fisher JUST finished playing against this group. There's no respect level. Fisher cant properly make certain guys accountable.

Good call. Lionel Hollins shoulda been called. I think him and Phil would work well together.

Here's the thing, first... I don't know how you could possibly speak on the Jackson hire. This past draft he went from having no picks, to 3 picks without giving up one asset.

"The point" - Is trying to build a team, which means you have to overcome the mistakes made before you. And the fools move is to try to make a few B- moves, and end up with long deals that bar you from being a contender. Like, say... what the Nets did when the Russian took over.

The Knicks losing every game this year would be the best thing to happen to us in 2 decades with this draft on the horizon.

Also - Pat Riley was a coach with no front office experience before he became the Heat GM. That's what Jackson is doing, and you have to let it play out. "The Point" is having somebody in the front office that can do what he wants, without caving to Dolan.

And BECAUSE Melo has no help, and because the roster is garbage... and the pieces aren't quite shyt... you have to deal with a horrible season, and clear the salary decks. 2015, man. Wake up. That's what Phil Jackson is doing.

As far as Fish, time will tell. This team is garbage, so I can't fault him for them sucking. We'll see if the team can learn the offense... plenty of coaches have had not real experience or pedigree and succeeded... for example, Jason Kidd is getting by well at two different jobs. Spoelstra is another one who came out with almost no experience or pedigree and has done quite well.

Sometimes coaches figure it out, sometimes they have to be given a chance, sometimes they're backed by somebody with respect, and that gives them latitude.... We'll just have to see what happens.

We're not even halfway through the first season, I think maybe we give their tenure a little more time.... yanno?
