I think I figured out why VY won't get a shot. With Jason Campbell, not only does he know his role, but he will fukk up enough that fans won't attach themselves to him even if he wins.

With VY, there's a chance that he'll step onto the field and win. He'll win in ways that endear him to fans. Then management will be stuck giving him another year or two rather than drafting Teddy/Mariota/Tahj.

Basically Campbell makes the drafting of a QB for next season easier.

This post kind of contradicts itself...

Naw because the Browns were dead set on drafting their own qb before the season started
and this new regime clearly doesn't give a fukk what the fans or media thinks:heh:

I'd really hate be a Browns fan ran now. That entire front office needs to be ashamed of themselves and never get another NFL position ever (I think their gone now). I was laughing at it back then, but how they managed to have two top ten picks and come out with a 28 year old rookie QB and a RB who even the greatest player in the history of their franchise told them wasn't that good :snoop:.

With their inept front office people really think they're gonna pick up someone better than Trent Richardson with their high 20's pick their gonna get from the Colts :banderas:

At this point anybody would be an upgrade over struggle cuts:heh:
And I was a huge supporter of his when he 1st got to Indy:dahell:

not true, teams are still stacking the box whenever Trent is in, which shows he is still respected and feared by teams Defensive Coordinators. he in fundamentally changing how teams face our offense

The colts most successful plays come off play action to him, and he is a fine blocker and catcher out the backfield

Just this week he had 5 broken tackles which is comparable to any other starting RB in the league. The issue is how the colts are using him not his lack of talent. As soon as teams let up and stop stacking the box when he's in his numbers will start to more closely represent how he's running, which is not bad at all

Results speak for itself. Indys front office >>>>>> clevelands by miles. There is no way Colts were gonna make a trade to get fleeced

I'm a VInce Young stan but dude has been trash for 3 years now. He is no longer a starter in this league, He is a horrible decision maker. Jason Campell is a checkdown QB, he's conservative but he'll make a big throw if he must. Jason Campell is a better QB than Vince Young.
