I have to disagree here. I've seen tape of Kizer's throw in some games. His WRs get open enough. He just routinely lacks accuracy, anticipation and is like to get fooled by coverages. Now, it's common for a rookie QB to lack some of the aforementioned skills, but Kizer wasn't accurate or anticipatory enough to dominate college, let alone the NFL. He has a mountain to climb that a more talented QB (from the footwork/mental side) doesn't have to traverse. Kizer's backup at ND, Malik Zaire, was a better short passing QB. Kizer's accuracy was not even 2nd round QB level. While his WRs, TEs and RBs could use improvement, he's partly to blame for the Brown's woes. The Browns need a QB. If Kizer develops in 3 years, he could start, but the Browns need a 1st round talent level QB.

Kiser had no business starting this year. Also the QB musical chairs doesn't help. Is there a vet QB on that roster to help him? Dude looks like he's trying to make plays to keep his job. Put that kid in Chicago in Cleveland and he'd be a bust of epic proportions.

Passed on teddy bridgewater and derek carr for manziel

Trade your #2 pick which could have been Wentz and if u didn't want Wentz you could have drafted Bosa or Zeke in the draft .but u dropped down for a below average receiver

U pick miles garrett which was great and u had the icing on the cake with Watson there and u said no because your baseball analytics executive said kizer was better:mjlol:

Hue and other coaches should be the last to ever get fired..haslem and the front office need to look in the mirror.

This might be the worst run franchise in the history of sports..

No wonder art modell left that dump

They're in luck this year. Rosen is the real deal. Use the other pick on the offensive line

A little town called none ya got damn bidness
Qb aint the only issue with the offense. Glad to see Flash back and that helps the WR unit alot but we need a big time game breaking running back to help the offense too. A good/great running back would make the QBs job alot easier. Im trying to give Kizer a little leeway considering he is 21 and alot of guys looked like bums at that age.

Exactly. Won like 9 games with a QB who has trouble throwing the ball.

Kizer probably only loses 1 game, puts up great stats and is looked at as a first rounder right now. shyt look at the jump in cred Baker Mayfield is getting.

So, Kizer would then be a first rounder that would on Clevelands draft board? Lol

Browns defense isn't bad from what I saw. Offense has a couple weapons, needs more. But I don't see a QB available next year who fixes them. I can see them jumping to being a 5-7 win team though.
Yeah Sashi actually has built a nice foundation. He was probably waiting to build the teamup so when he drafts a qb he would succeed right away. But he only got a couple of years:francis: Would Watson or Wentz would have looked the same as they do now in a Browns jersey with what little talent that was here when he got here:jbhmm:

Browns are fukking garbage man. I could build a better team. Sheesh. Draft a defensive tackle, two linebackers. Get a serviceable older quarterback in free agency. Get a safety and corners next year. Make that defense insufferable like the Steelers/Seahawks. Study all the great defenses. Get a great defensive coordinator. Then the next year get a running back and a wide out. Then finally draft a marquee quarterback and have your OG free agent QB groom him for a year. The young QB would have the defense doing the heavy lifting for him and at least the wideout or the running back depending on who’s better making the offense run smooth for him. It’s not rocket science.

The line and linebackers aren't even the problem:mjlol:

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
I refuse to believe Cleveland has been good awful at drafting QB's for 40 years. QB development and tailor-making your offense to your QB's strengths is so important things I think the Browns might be the worst at, in the NFL.

It's not the Qb. It's the browns. Vikings are 10 and 2 with Case Keenum.

Keenum failed on the Texans and Rams. His playing well for the Vikings is merely good timing.

That's what I'm saying. The browns drafting another qb next year won't fix their problems. The vikings have case keenum looking like a great qb, and he's done nothing in the league prior. Instead of burning another 1st rounder on the qb, build the team up around him.

The reality is that they aren't all trash QBs, they just weren't given a chance to succeed. They are always impatient and never giving their coach/QB a long enough leash to get it together.

Hell even Johnny Football was going out there putting in work and they threw him in the bushes too.
Manziel didn't have the motivation or discipline to be a franchise QB. He was never a long term solution.

Rosen can fix the Brown's offensive woes. Maybe not in year 1, but year 2 onwards. Rosen's footwork is as consistently good as any I've seen. The Browns' line will give him enough time to slice teams up underneath, while occasionally launching a bomb to Josh Gordon.

Rosen makes some of the worst throwing decisions of any major college QB I've seen. He could be real good in the right situation but I'd be wary of him going to Cleveland.
