I have to disagree here. I've seen tape of Kizer's throw in some games. His WRs get open enough. He just routinely lacks accuracy, anticipation and is like to get fooled by coverages. Now, it's common for a rookie QB to lack some of the aforementioned skills, but Kizer wasn't accurate or anticipatory enough to dominate college, let alone the NFL. He has a mountain to climb that a more talented QB (from the footwork/mental side) doesn't have to traverse. Kizer's backup at ND, Malik Zaire, was a better short passing QB. Kizer's accuracy was not even 2nd round QB level. While his WRs, TEs and RBs could use improvement, he's partly to blame for the Brown's woes. The Browns need a QB. If Kizer develops in 3 years, he could start, but the Browns need a 1st round talent level QB.
Kiser had no business starting this year. Also the QB musical chairs doesn't help. Is there a vet QB on that roster to help him? Dude looks like he's trying to make plays to keep his job. Put that kid in Chicago in Cleveland and he'd be a bust of epic proportions.

Would Watson or Wentz would have looked the same as they do now in a Browns jersey with what little talent that was here when he got here
