KBB has that car valued at $13,101 in excellent condition for a sale by private seller/not dealer. So, it's actually street-level price. It's 14 years old. High mileage.

Maintaining it is kind of expensive. Seriously, just regular service maintenance is going to be in the hundreds. It would be worth it to do your own maintenance.
Insurance is also high for this car, it's old, but it's a sports car. Take the VIN for this car and give it to your insurance company and get a quote.

Heh, its funny. A Corvette of similar age and mileage is worth about the same even though the Porsche started out twice the price.

That's less than 10,000 a year. Like most Porsche owners, it wasn't driven in the winter.
I think an engine replacement or rebuild is scary, price-wise.
