No, I think he had this issue throughout those marriages, but was covering it up.
It took a reality show with his crazy step-daughters to break the camel's back. The crazy thing was he was the voice of reason early on in the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He was conservative, not liberal, which is what makes this whole thing even crazier.
