The reason why The Lapsed Fan is my fav wrestling podcast is because it's a podcast from the perspective of fans. It's by fans for fans. There's no carny talk. No weird wrestler bullshyt or ducktales. It perfectly captures that weird attention to stupid little details you have as a wrestling fan growing up and also the growing sense of disillusionment you have with the product. It's two dudes who love wrestling but also realise it's a weird, ridiculous business.

Plus Jack really knows his shyt.

It can be self-indulgent, they can go OTT sometimes with impressions and listener e-mails, but I kinda like how rough around the edges it is. It just makes it all the more relatable as a fan.
