 at greenday isnt punk. whatever breh. Dookie and Blink 182 > any modern punk album you can name

Progressive Metal, Post Metal, Grunge and whatever the hell the Smashing Pumpkins falls under > Punk

Just saying breh :yeshrug:

You don't even listen to punk/hardcore lol

"Whatever the smashing pumpkins falls under" :mjlol:

Most those genres wouldn't even exist with out punk. Considering they are the progression OF punk.

I can name 20 ACTUAL punk albums to come out in the past 3 years that are better than that album.

smashin pumpkins are versatile...cant pigeonhole them to one genre.

because there is no soul or rhythm in it

you can put me on like a true fan would; or you can shut up and heed :blessed:

No soul? :what:

I will but I'm at work right now and on my phone. I'll post some shyt when I'm out of work

Hardcore/punk has plenty of soul. It saved ME from killing myself and kept a friend of mine who grew up In a bad neighborhood with no father and a drug addict mother and no family off the streets and his head kept on right. He swears of he didn't have hardcore/punk he would have nothing. Its his entire life. It's very genuine and relatable because it's filled with so many artists and musicians who really genuinely love it. People who are willing to sell their belongings and have no place to stay and quit their job to tour in a hot ass van for a few months eating food they steal because they don't make shyt for money because they genuinely love the culture. It covers many ranges of topics.

It's one of the most genuine genres there is. That's all I'm gonna say.

I feel you. I dont mind a little hardcore. I used to listen to it a lot more being around friends in high school but I'm not really familiar with the bands today. I can find artists and songs from almost any genre that I can fukk with though.
