If I'm in trump's camp, I feel great today. Even the most left, liberal HRC person can't deny trump's momentum. The problem is we still have a LONG time before election day. Both candidates have had moments of peaking but can't sustain it.

One thing polls will never show is ground game. Yeah people look at enthusiasm, but being excited to vote and voting are two different things. HRC's camp and objective political experts believe that won't show up until election day.

People have revisionist history and forget this "obama coalition" didn't show up until election day. Romney got washed but leading into the day of the election most polls had it within the margin of error, some had it a dead tie. Plenty of republicans thought romney would pull it out and wasn't close. Again polls no matter when they take them doesn't take in to effect what's ACTUALLY happening on the ground. Just something to consider.

Last week of polls had Obama up in the 5 range I remember not feeling good about Romney's chances...the averages stay lagging cuz they are holding more than 2 week old polling data which doesn't work in the social media age...averages should only account for 1 week at most to me

I believe the highest obama was up was between 3-5%. Within the margin of error which again is why so many people thought Romney had a real shot until results start coming in election night.

I think next weeks polls will be worse for clinton. The way every poll is trending I dont see things changing before the debate. Trump has all of the momentum and no matter what gaffe trump makes, he's teflon.

Also you're right. There is still so much time left. In my opinion trump's biggest asset is the media. Optics matter, everyday, every news network is dominated by trump. Hillary desperately needs her surrogates and cant afford any more stumbles.

Let's say he wins Ohio and Florida. He will still only garner I believe 215 votes. At this point, Hilary is at 275.
